One of the things that disfigure a bathroom is lime. Lime deposits accumulate on different surfaces such as bathroom taps, shower enclosures, tiles, sanitary ware, etc. Leaving dull residue on many of these pieces. And over time, if we do not deal with it, it will become that annoying white spot impossible to remove.

But where does lime appear? For in all those areas where water is present, Calcium deposits and magnesium carbonate is dissolved in water; when the water evaporates, minerals are still present and hence the appearance of lime.

Do you want to kill and eliminate these unsightly surfaces naturally? Home and traditional remedies are effective in combating the corrosive lime such as vinegar, lemon and baking soda.

If the tap has too much embedded lime, another trick is to directly rub with half a lemon. Then wet the cloth in the lemon juice, wrap the cloth around the tap and leave for an hour, then rinse with water.

For the shower head, it is best to take the pieces apart and soak in vinegar for several hours

Screens and crystals: lime droplets that remain on these surfaces are quite unsightly. To prevent their occurrence, the ideal is to dry the shower screen or glass after every shower. Remove with water and then pour some multipurpose cleaning liquid onto the screen or glass and dry with a clean cloth. It will look really bright!

Toilets : to keep the toilet free of those annoying yellow stains , make a mixture of vinegar and borax ( boron salt , can be purchased at drug stores ) , throw it down the toilet without flushing and leave a few hours. Also try the concoction made with vinegar and baking soda, the foam as a result of this mixture will sweep away all dirt and lime.
